Clean Your Streams Day

Tired of all the trash along the streams in the area? Come help PCS and its Partners clean your streambanks. Over 58 tons of trash have been collected in the first twelve years from local streambanks. Interesting items such as light bulb, headless goose statue, portable toilet, toy gun, tent, CD player, grill, sled, 50” LCD TV, and 4 door sedan car were found last year and hauled away for proper disposal.

Volunteer to remove litter and see what you can find. Clean Your Streams Day begins at 8 a.m. and ends with an Appreciation Picnic for all participants following the cleanup. Awards are given for our competitions at the picnic, as well as special thank you items for participants. Information from previous years can be downloaded from the PCS Publications page.
