8th Annual Partnering for Clean Streams Patch Workshop for Scouts and other Youth Groups Join the Partners for Clean Streams for this half-day workshop
where you can have fun and learn about local fresh water sources and how to keep those sources clean and
abundant. This year's program has been expanded to include eight activities at the workshop.
These activities will meet all the requirements of earning the PCS Patch and many requirements for other
environmental patches. Patch recipients can wear their patch with greater pride of ownership in our local waterways
and will be eager to continue as active partners in their preservation. Space is limited so register early.

21th Annual Student Watershed Watch
The Student Watershed Watch (SWW) helps our region’s young people
to appreciate our streams, so they may grow to be wise stewards. Each year the SWW brings
hundreds of students together from urban and rural school districts
in the Maumee Area of Concern to learn about our local environment.
This two-part program includes water quality testing performed by Junior and Senior High School classes
at local stream sites and culminates at a Student Summit where student representatives from participating
schools release and compare their results. |
