Description

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) will host the Paddle Palooza Festival at Maumee Bay State Park for the third year in a row on Sunday July 9 from 11am-4pm.

This free, family-friendly event is a great opportunity to try a variety of different canoes and kayaks, as well as learn stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Experts will also be on hand to share information about local paddling activities and resources.

A number of partners from Lucas, Ottawa and Wood counties will be available to assist with these free paddling demonstrations.
Partners for Clean Streams Inc. is striving for abundant open space and a high quality natural environment; adequate floodwater storage capacities and flourishing wildlife; stakeholders who take local ownership in their resources; and rivers, streams and lakes that are clean, clear and safe
