Did you know that the Great Lakes are the biggest freshwater source in the world? Lake Erie is the most productive for fishing of all the Great Lakes. In fact, Maumee Bay was once the most fertile fishing grounds in all the Great Lakes. Your support helps make our streams clean, clear and healthy so they can support this complex ecosystem.

Perhaps you want to maintain a summer tradition of swimming with your children, highlight the aesthetic qualities, enjoy economic benefits of a healthy river, share in community pride, provide community service, teach core values to the next generation or show appreciation for wildlife. Whatever your reason for taking pride in our waterways, making a financial donation is a practical way of showing your support.

By donating to PCS, you help us reach our goals of restoring rivers that lead to Lake Erie beaches that promote fishable and swimmable conditions for generations. In most small organizations, it's the starting donations that lead to more financial support from large businesses and grants. Thus your donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in the long run.  Every penny goes a long way in protecting your water.

It is most meaningful to see the results of your donations in the form of clean river banks, healthy beaches and flourishing wetlands or wild areas. PCS works to put your donations to work in projects that emphasize visibly cleaner and healthy streams, rivers and even ditches. We appreciate all the support, commitment and public awareness that helps strengthen our waterways.
