Committees

Did you know that the Great Lakes are the biggest freshwater source in the world? Lake Erie is the most productive for fishing of all the Great Lakes. Your support helps make our streams clean, clear and healthy so they can support this complex ecosystem. By donating to PCS, you help us reach our goals of restoring rivers that lead to Lake Erie beaches that promote fishable and swimmable conditions for generations.

Planning is the first step!

Project Management team assist in the implementation of a specific project including tasks such as RFP development, consult selection and oversight and public education. This is a very important part of keeping our organization running smoothly.

Planning teams are responsible for assisting with the development of event/ programs for that year. Tasks can include promotional material distribution, site coordination, volunteer recruitment and training, donation solicitation among others. This is a great way to be directly involved with developing, planning and running annual events such as the Youth Patch Day Workshop, Clean Your Streams or the Annual General Meeting.

Development Teams are responsible for the financial development of the organization. Tasks include membership education and recruitment, community partner recruitment, event underwriters, solicitation and various other financial components of our organization.

We welcome anyone who wants to be more involved with important functions that PCS runs. These are non-elected positions and thus open to anyone interested. These teams are created as needed. Please contact us if you would like to be part of one of these teams.
