Currents March 2018

Did you know that the Great Lakes are the biggest freshwater source in the world? Lake Erie is the most productive for fishing of all the Great Lakes. Your support helps make our streams clean, clear and healthy so they can support this complex ecosystem. By donating to PCS, you help us reach our goals of restoring rivers that lead to Lake Erie beaches that promote fishable and swimmable conditions for generations.

spaghettiJoin us for an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner fundraiser in Point Place! On Saturday, April 14th from 5-7pm we will be meeting at the Friendship Park Community Center (2930 131st St. Toledo, OH 43611) to socialize, enjoy a dinner prepared by PCS President Terry Shankland, and learn more about the issues that are impacting Lake Erie from speaker Dr. Patrick Lawrence from the University of Toledo. For $15, you are invited to eat unlimited spaghetti, garlic bread, green beans, drink, and dessert. Tickets will be sold at the door. Please RSVP through our office at (419) 874-0727 by April 2nd. Come support water quality in our region through a fun evening of food for thought and food for nourishment!
