Time is running out and spots are filling up fast for the 14th Annual Patch Day Workshop. The Workshop will be held on Sunday, March 6th 2016 from 1:00-4:30pm for children Kindergarten through 5th grade. The cost is $5.00. It will be held at the University of Toledo Student Union in the Ingman Room (#2520) with free parking. The Workshop is perfect for a child who loves rivers and wants to learn more about their waterways. The Workshop allows participants to explore exciting water conservation-related activities and learn how to make a difference in protecting our streams and rivers. Participants will fulfill requirements for various environmental merit badges or patch requirements. They will learn about the water cycle, native wildlife, waste water treatment, rain gardens, storm drains and much more. Check-in is at 12:30pm with the program starting promptly at 1:00pm.
