Did you know that the Great Lakes are the biggest freshwater source in the world? Lake Erie is the most productive for fishing of all the Great Lakes. Your support helps make our streams clean, clear and healthy so they can support this complex ecosystem. By donating to PCS, you help us reach our goals of restoring rivers that lead to Lake Erie beaches that promote fishable and swimmable conditions for generations.

Description

Join Natures Nursery and Partners for Clean Streams for an enriching experience as we delve into the importance of preserving clean waterways. Following this, we’ll venture to Memorial Park in Waterville to actively participate in a cleanup initiative along the Maumee River, to support our wild neighbors and make a cleaner habitat for people and animals!

Class Details:

  • We will meet at 7541 Dutch Road, Waterville, OH 43566 first. DO NOT type in Nature’s Nursery into your GPS, it will take you to our old location.
  • The class will take place on the Davey Moore Education Center side of the building. There are signs that say “stop” as ailing wildlife should not enter that side of the building.
  • Doors will be unlocked 15 minutes before the class so attendees have time to shop in the merch store and get settled. There will also be time after the class to purchase merch and use the restroom.
  • At this time, we are only accepting CARD, PAYPAL, or VENMO. We do not have cash for change on-site.
  • The class will then travel to Memorial Park 24 Water St, Waterville, OH 43566, please expect to travel in your own vehicle to Memorial Park. We will not be going back to Nature’s Nursery after the clean up.
